Our Mission
At Mississippi Reign FC, licensed volunteer coaches train players technically, tactically, and strategically in the beautiful game of soccer in a family-friendly environment that promotes the development of excellence and integrity. MS Reign's mission goes beyond soccer --- character development for life and training in hardwork to achieve excellence in all that a player will tackle on the pitch and in life.
Academy
Academy level teams are structured for our players newest to the game of soccer or for our players who need more development. Academy teams compete at local tournaments in lower-level divisions to provide more opportunity to grow in the sport under manageable pressure. This helps to keep players having fun and to keep families enjoying soccer together. Players at this level may be invited to guest at the competitive level or to move up once skills are improved.
Competitive
Competitive level teams are rostered based on skill-level and play at tournaments locally and away to challenge their increasing skills and abilities. Players are expected to participate in challenging environments that push them further to motivate a harder work ethic and desire for excellence. Players on these teams may expect more rigorous training sessions and more competition within the team as well to earn playing time.
Competitive & Fun
Mississippi Reign Futbol Club is a division 1 competitive soccer club established in 2015 as a non-profit organization under US Club Soccer to provide a fun environment for developing high-level soccer skills. Our teams show themselves ready to compete at tournaments in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and other parts of the south region.
Skill & Development
Our goal is to create a year-round environment that emphasizes long- term development goals, rather than short term “results.” Our main soccer focus is to develop players who can adapt on the pitch and within a team; in other words, developing universal players who can score goals and defend against goals.
Commitment & Integrity
Our coaches are volunteer, U.S. Soccer-licensed coaches. They are qualified instructors in the sport, and they volunteer their expertise without profit to benefit their local community. Coaches seek to instill players with excellence, hardwork, and sportsmanship.
USSF Licensed Coaches
Our volunteer coaches either have or are working toward USSF national licenses in coaching soccer. Many of our coaches also maintain certifications as USSF Referees. Each coach has a different style, but we all have the same mission and work together to share that mission while building technical skills on the pitch.
